Accordion Shutters are also a great investment for the resale of a home!
I also install Aluminum, Galvanized or Clear Shutter Panels.
Maintenance of Accordion Shutters includes cleaning, lubricating and repair.
Re-Screening / Repair / 'Beefing Up' Enclosures
If you need 1 panel or the entire enclosure re-screened - acme does it all. Also can rebuild damaged enclosures, add new doors or re-align them and even beef-up the enclosure with new tap cons, screws and even add beams if needed.
Acme also screens in already in place patio enclosures.
Entryways / Patio Extensions
Acme installs new entryways and adds aluminum covered patios whether panned roof or insulated. We also repair current ones already in place.
About Me
Acme Aluminum is a Family Owned and Operated business in the Treasure Coast since 2006. I have been in the Aluminum business of repairing and re-screening enclosures since Hurricane Charley back in 2004. I added installation of Accordion Shutters and buildout of covered patios and enclosures when I received my State Specialty Contractors License in 2006.
Since I was young I grew up working at my Father's Pattern shop in Michigan. My parents are immigrants from Germany and came here at a very young age. Bringing with them and instilling in me their hard work ethic, loyalty and quality of workmanship.
I joined the Army in 1986 and was stationed in Germany for 3 years. I received my BS at Michigan State University and moved to Florida in 1995.
I have lived in various areas throughout Florida before settling in Stuart in 2001.
I am also a Broker Associate and understand the complexities of HOA's and therefore work with them very easily when working in the various gated communities.
I currently install shutters (Clear, Aluminum, Galvanized and Accordions), build front entryways, enclose covered patios and build out on covered patios as well (see Photos in the Projects section).
Most of my business has been thru referrals and as of late thru www.thumbtack.com and this site.
